We will be CLOSED from January 1st to 23rd for our winter break. January is a slower time for the bakery, and we like to take the time to slow down and enjoy family, thoroughly clean the bakery, catch up on some book keeping and organize ourselves for the new year after all the holiday craziness. CHRISTMAS ORDERS: Please note that for regular orders we require 24 hours notice (placed the day before during business hours). This week's soup is hearty, smokey, and sure to warm you up! A French Canadian split pea and smoked ham soup. My husband's favourite!

 

This weekend's pies are Raspberry Cranberry and Millionaire Pie. What is Millionaire Pie you ask? Inspired by the Millionaire Bar, it has a similar base to a butter tart and filled with coconut flakes, pecans and chocolate!

Its that time of year again! The Harvest Market is on this coming Sunday, October 1st. Located at the Cumberland Heritage Museum on Old Montreal Rd. It runs from 10am to 4pm. There will be tons of vendors and plenty of family orientated activities! The weather will be stunning! Hope to see you there!

Our pies that day will be Apple Raspberry and Pumpkin! Our muffins will be banana coconut and double chocolate zucchini!

Dear friends and family! Introducing our newest addition, baby Caleb. Our healthy boy came almost a month earlier than expected. Weighing in at just over 7.5 lbs of butter!


Apologies for the short notice, but we will be taking a 3 week break for some family time. The bakery will be CLOSED until July 25th. We will reOPEN on Wednesday July 26th at 8am excited to greet you as a family of four!

ALSO, our usual summer holiday closure will be the end of the July. We are expecting our 2nd child in mid-late July, and will be CLOSED for 3 weeks once baby arrives. Stay tuned for exact dates to come!

 

 

Cool down with a refreshing homemade lemonade made with freshly squeezed lemons and organic cane sugar!

Alternatively, we have:

  • Iced hibiscus tea, made from steeped organic hibiscus flowers, organic cane sugar, and fresh lemon juice.
  • Iced coffee, made with Poppa Bean Dark Cuban roast coffee. We serve it unsweetened, but offer a simple syrup and cream to allow you fix it up to your taste buds!

 

 

Strawberries are finally in season! Savour the fresh harvest and enjoy a homemade strawberry rhubarb pie. Strawberries are locally sourced from Proulx Farm and rhubarb is harvested from our Cumberland neighbours!

In addition, we will have our lemon raspberry buttermilk pie. A vintage classic with a raspberry twist.

Blueberry Pecan Crunch: I don't generally even like blueberry pies, but Chantal (our pie baker queen) makes the best! This one is made with wild blueberries baked in a yoghurt custard, topped with a crunchy pecan crumble.
 
Banana Coconut Cream: If you love bananas and coconut, simply to die for. Super fresh, light and the toasted coconut is the best!

Made 100% vegetarian with fresh kale, zucchini, tomatoes, pasta, beans, carrots and served with a dollop of homemade pesto (nut free).

This sweet spiced custard pie is a perfect winter dessert. Created by an Amish farm wife, this pie was said to be just as good as Bob and Andy, their prized work horses on the farm.
