This is our white sourdough loaf. It has a crusty exterior and soft chewy and open crumb. It is leavened only with a natural sourdough culture, and as a result has subtle sour taste to it. We love to make grilled cheese sandwiches with this loaf, but being a neutral loaf, it lends itself equally well to savoury or sweet meals. It is a favourite among many of our staff and guests.
It is one of the last loaves to come out of the oven, so expect it out daily around 10am.
We believe because sourdough breads are naturally fermented and leavened slowly without additives and preservatives, that they are easier to digest and healthier for you. Good bread takes time.
